Hey I'm Sara Perman.   I'm going to be your last DJ for the schoolyear.   This final music segment is a compilation of some our favorites here at ATMI.  

Girls in Hawaii is a Belgian indie pop band.   Noah chose their track “Flavor” from the album From Here to There . He said that he loves the progression from mellow to rock in the song.

This next song is Hannah's choice.   It's is called Matador and it's written by a French band called Mickey 3D!   They come from a small town in France which the tour de France passes almost every year!   Mickey 3D rocks about the more sad side of things but their music tends to be pretty happy sounding… Here's Mickey 3D with Matador….

Hey everyone, we're back for the second half of our “ATMI favorites”.   Here are two more of the best songs of the year at ATMI.

Chris' favorite song that has been playing in his car for days is “Especially in Michigan” from the newly released Red Hot Chili Peppers' CD “Stadium Arcadium”.   He says that though the entire CD is excellent and each song has a different feel, he likes the lyrics of Especially in Michigan the best.

This final song is my choice for this show. The upcoming summer stands for so many things, freedom, growth- most importantly no homework.   And for some of us this past week has been the last week of high school EVER!   This song by Semisonic is my tribute to those seniors who are graduating .   Nice work on those long hard highschool years, you did it, and now you are finished.   Congratulations.   Here's Semisonic's “Closing Time”.
