Teen staff join Shootout.net team (Nov. 2005)

ATMI's Chris Frenier and Katie Zager joined the University of Alaska Anchorage's Shootout coverage team this Thanksgiving weekend. The two contributed game and feature stories, an audio clip and a video game story for the Journalism and Public Communication department's Web site at www.shootout.net.

Journalism students and alumni have been putting together the site for years and this is the first time they invited ATMI students on board the team. Chris wrote game stories about games eight and 14. He also did a stand up story on the championship game. Katie covered the Million Dollar Shot contest and produced an audio clip for game 15.

	Reporter Katie Zager sits courtside, as she watches Rey Canal, the Million Dollar Shot finalist, do his two pre-shot push-ups. Rey didn't win the million bucks but he did take home a new car and a year's supply of Coca-Cola among other prizes.
